Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support

I have two sons they are now 25 and 27. The 27 year old lived with me from the time he was 12-18. I modified the child support so that I only paid for one son. My modification says I have a legal right to collect child support from my ex wife. I did not ask for the child support. Can I ask for the child support now?
