Can my ex, court, or OAG force me to sell my homestead property or can they only place a lien for unpaid child support?

All liens against a homestead are void unless they are allowed by the Texas Constitution. There does not appear to be an allowance for child support liens.

Check with a family law attorney in your area.

If the property ceased to be homestead, the child support lien may attach.
