Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Cps has custody of my eight year boy,because of drug use between myself and my now xwife,i've since cleanded up my act and done everything the court and cps wanted,but today i was told he would not be returned,because of a failed alcohol test.what can i do now?

Please consider hiring a lawyer. Without a lawyer, most courts follow the recommendations of CPS, because that is the only voice in the courtroom. Your attorney can present your evidence of improved lifestyle, and move the court to consider a graduated possession schedule, that if successful could lead to conservatorship being re-established.
