Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can Cps remove your child for doing something that is sold over the counter at gas stations 10 min. down the road and is legal in your county? Child is unharmed and not neglected in anyway.

The test is whether you are taking good care of your child. If you are, then you shouldn't face removal problems. If you are not taking good care of your child, then you may face removal of the child by CPS. Not every that is legal or over the counter leads to behavior that is in the child's best interest. So don't focus your argument on the presumed legality of what you did or didn't do. Focus your argument on the well-being of the child. That's all a judge wants to hear about.

Good luck!!
