Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Help with decision to fight custody
I am the father. Divorce decree Joint Costody with all rights stated even including religious upbringing. Some arguments arose 10 months ago about religious beliefs of child against remarriage. Mother claims I have trained child to believe (to amnipulate him biased). Due to religious doctrines child learned tells mother. I am accused of criticising mother (always on the basis of religious beliefs) She uses this issue to reason that it is not ''healthy for the child'' to be with his father, at least too often. She has modified the agreement based on the issue abovementioned. Last 10 months I had not seen my son. I asked child why he has not contacted me or responded to the many messages left on answering machine, and he claims that mother has not allowed him to do it. Some of my mail the child did not receive (never sent certified). One week one week agreement that, prior to the last ten months we had, mother does not agree. Child only stated, not cohersed to state it, what he believes in his faith. Mother now claims child does not want to see his father, but mother appears to withold contact with me. Need a course of action. Thank you.

Re: Help with decision to fight custody
It is not clear to me what your question really is. Has the child been subjected to the influence of some "cult" or something more mainstream? Where is the child now? Has a judge determined where the child should reside, and how old is the child? 10 months in a child's life is an eternity. Why have you not had contact? You have compromised your case by failing to see your child for almost a year. I need more information to give advice.
