How to file a counter suit as an answer to petition to establish parent-child re

How do I file a counter suit as an answer to a petition to establish the parent-child relationship?

The child lived with me from age 2 to age 12,the child is now age 15. Since the mother is attempting to sue me for current and retroactive support, can I counter sue for support for the years the child lived with me?

Thanks

A counter-suit is common in a divorce, but what you are describing is more typically handled as a defense to her child support claim. You specific case, however, depends upon the actual facts and whether or not there are other issues than child support.

If you are in the Austin area, I would be happy to offer you a consultation.
