Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I had filed for divorce in February of 2013, but we thought we could be able to work it out. We have decided to finally follow through with the divorce, but our case has been closed. Can we reopen it and not have to wait the 90 days to finalize it?

You had a total of 30 days to ask the court to reinstate your case. If it's been longer than 30 days, the court has lost jurisdiction.

You will need to refile and start from scratch.

The waiting period to finish it is 61 days -- I don't know where you got 90 days.

If you need someone to do your paperwork only, call me.

I am willing to do uncontested paperwork to see it gets finalized.
