Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Want to know how I can get judge to let me move out of state

I signed divorce papers that will not allow me to move out of Brazoria County thinking that if my ex got what he wanted he would leave me alone, since then I have pressed charges on him for harassment, he hasn't aquired medical insurance for the kids, hasn't reimbursed me for the med insurance fees comming out of my paychecks, I had to leave my last job to take another one that I can pick my own hours because I was close to being fired from the last because my ex wouldn't take the kids for visitation, or make me come get them early and I would have to leave work. He has missed some visitation, probably about 20%, but I have no family here and want to move to OK for family support so I can work and go to school. We have only been divorced since July and my lawyer seems to think I don't have much of a case. What do you think I could show the judge to sway him into seeing what this is doing to me and in return doing to my children. I know it's all about the best interest for the kids and in my mind and heart I know this will be the best.

You would have to seek a modification of the terms of custody, visitation and child support. If what you are saying is true and you have proof of each and every allegation, I think you should find a new lawyer who believes in your case. Good Luck.
