Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can i get legal custody of my 12 year old daughter. She has advsied me numerous times she wants to move in with me. Ever since me and her mother divorced she has stated this. We are going on year 2. What are my options? she has stated she is willing to tell a judge that she wants to live me.

File a Petition to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship and in the petition ask the court to designate you as the conservator (parent) having the exclusive rights to (a) designate the primary residence of the child; and (b) receive child support. Include a request that the court interview your child in chambers.

This is best handled by a good family law attorney because custory battles get complicated and ugly quickly.
