If a person gives up all parental rights, Is that person still required to pay any child support for that child ?

If your parental rights are legally terminated by court order, from the date that you are no longer a legal parent, then you are no longer responsible for future support of the child. This will not wipe out the liability for past due child support that was incurred prior to the termination. Unless the court order specifically addresses the arrearage, that is a debt still owed. However, from the moment you cease to be a legal parent, you are not responsible for support of that child for the future.
