Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Pension

My ex and I have been divorced for 11 years now after 23 years of marriage. He works for a major oil corp and at the time of the divorce, through a QUADRO I was awarded 1/2 of his pension that would have been at the time of divorce. Now I have remarried and he is about to retire - He has asked me to sign over to him HIS pension. Does he have any legal rights to this pension awarded to me?

Re: Pension

AS you say, the legal right to 1/2 of his pension earned during the 23 years of marriage was awarded to you by the Court. He is *asking* you to sign over his pension. "No" might be an acceptable response and would be supported by your legal documentation. You might want to ask a lawyer to respond for you to put this in legal-ese that would prevent any repurcussions by your X.
