I am trying to enroll him in school here in Texas but the school system will not accept him till I have power of attorney . The problem with that his he was never appointed a legal gaurdian. I need to know how I can get power of attorney when there is no legal gaurdian to sign it over to me. His father is unknown . Please elp if you can I have called & asked everyone including the family courts office.

Re: Power of attorney

You left lots of questions in my mind. How did a 9 year old survive on his own for 7 years? Is he related to you? Child Protective Services would probably want to become involved. If you would like to discuss this further you can contact me at 817 261-2671.
