Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I received a text from my ex stating that his pay has been reduced by 8% and asking if I would like to see pay stubs or go thru a lawyer. We have been divorced a year. Out of guilt, he agreed to everything I was asking for in the divorce. Now I think he regrets it. What should my next move be? Should I have his lawyer send me an official request to renegotiate child support?

When the divorce ended usually the legal representation ended.

You can actually "google" Texas child support calculator and find at least 2. They will never match figures -- I don't know why.

The TX A G website has a calculator.

You have several options:

1. force him to file for a modification and pay for it.

2. go to mediation.

3. consult with a family law attorney in your county.

I mediate but I might not be in your part of Texas.

I hope this info is helpful.
