Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How can I secure my gift (inheritance) of properties as a community property with my husband?

The gifts are described on a document; can't sale since my mother lives, and those documents includes my siblings names. We live in Texas but the properties are not in Texas.

I don't understand your question. Property received through inheritance or gift during the marriage is separate property (it is important to NOT commingle that property and muddy the water). I don't know the title laws of other states than Texas, and the state of location of the property might control the issue here.

One of the first rules learned in law school - over 30 years ago - is you cannot inherit from a living person. There truly is no such thing.

I am sorry, as I realize this response does not address the issue you are trying to present. If you would like to re-post, would be happy to try again.
