Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am separated from my husband and have already filed for divorce. My husband has taken both cars from me and I would like to request an emergency hearing so he can return one of the cars to me so I can at least get a job and be able to support my daughter and myself. I have no income and no way of paying for a lawyer, how can I do it myself?

You'll need to file an answer and counterpetition for divorce that asks for temporary orders. You will then get a hearing set on the request for temporary orders.

You can do this without a lawyer, but it will be difficult.
