If a teenage father is 15 years old, are his parents liable for child support?

You need to talk to a family law attorney in your county.

The baby has to eat and needs diapers.

Since he is under age and your responsibility, if the judge orders him to pay child support and he does not have the money then I guess you will have to pay it.

Some judges order it immediately and a few will wait until the father turns 18.

Minimum wage child support is over $200 a month. And, plus, there is reimbursement for the child's health insurance or paying the monthly premium to have the child insured. If the child is on medicaid normally the TX A G wants around $100 a month for reimbursing the State for this coverage - you can try to negotiate a lower amount.
