Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Transmutation of Stock Options and Uniform Gifts to Minors Acts

I am looking for information regarding stock options awarded prior to marriage, but executed during marriage.

How are they valued. If not determined seperate, how sould value be calculated,

Also, how are Uniform Gifts To minors acts gifts valued when given from a spouses parent to that spouse in a community property state

Any case law concerning this.

Valuation and property questions

The options would be separate proeprty, but the spouse would be eligible for "reimbursement" from the community for funds expended to enhance the separate property value. Spouse woudl get 1/2 of cost to execute. Uniform gifts to minors act tursts belong to the minor after he/she becomes an adult, not to the spouse/parent.CAll me direct if you need more detailed informationWeston Cotten281-421-5774
