Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My wife and I are doing an uncontested divorce in Texas and all she wants is the second car that is listed in community property in the decree and will pay child support. She also wants N/A in seperate property on the decree since she does want anything. Finally, she wants all debts that are hers and he signed the waiver. My question is that will a judge sign-off on the decree if it only states she gets the car and I get the house and truck?

A judge will generally not pay attention to the way the parties decide to divide the property as long as they are in aggeement. With minor children, the Court will be primarily concerned with and look at the child related orders to insure that such are in the best interest of the child. Even though the case is uncontested, you should still have an attorney prepare the final paperwork and go to court with you to finalize the matter. I would be glad to consult with you and draft the final decree if necessary. If everything is agreed to then the costs should be minimal.
