terminated on fmla
I requested fmla on Jan. 20,2009 and it was approved on Jan. 21, 2009. It was scheduled to start on Jan. 22, 2009. My employer called me on the 23th and stated that I needed to come in for a meeting on the 26th for proposed termination that was back-dated to Jan. 22, 2009, because of a presonal e-mail that I sent from my personal laptop at home using their e-mail. Can they do that?
