Legal Question

Medmal Suit with 1 federal defendant, 1 local provider

I need to know if it is possible (or necessary) to sue a private physician in the same federal suit against a VA hospital, and, if so, do I request a jury trial in the original petition? Thanks for your help.

You are looking at two law suits. Against the private person you would begin in a Texas state court. The action against the VA employee (actually against the U.S. Government) would be in federal court. In the federal complaint you do not ask for a jury trial. That comes later.
