Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Automobile

I own a truck and a friend is buying it from me. He was supposed to get financing and put it in his name over a year ago, but has failed to do so. He writes me a check every month to pay the note. I need the truck off of my credit therefore I need him to follow through. Do I have legal right to take the truck from him?

Re: Automobile

Based on what you have written, you may have a legal right. You might want to review the bill of sale and agreement setting forth the terms of the sale that you and your friend signed when your friend took possesion of the truck. If you and your friend did not sign any such documents, you might want to consider discussing your situation more with a local law firm. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my paralegal Tina ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
