Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Branch fell on car in Texas

A 3 inch by ten feet limb fell directly on my car causing damage to the paint. This happened at my office (leased) and the management company's rep said the building owner would pay for the damage and to get an estimate. I did and submitted it to the management company rep who later called and said it was too high and offered $400 less. They pulled the same deal on another person who also had paint damage to their car but she was paid in full. Now they are not paying me any thing saying they do not have too. Do I have recourse for the $1500?

First off, read your lease to see if it's covered. Either your insurance or theirs should cover it.

You can't sue them for negligence unless they knew the limb might fall and didn't do anything about it.
