Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Liabilty

I am a homeowner who has recently gotten married, but my name is still the only one on the deed to the house. My husband has a son from before our marriage who lives with his mother in Texas. My husband is giving him a truck that is under my husband's name. If the son has a bad accident that isn't completely covered by insurance, could the injured party or family do anything that could result in the loss of my house or any posessions I acquired prior to our marriage?

Re: Liabilty

No, so long as you have good records as to when the property was aquired, and kept identified as separate from community property.
