Legal Question
After being repeatedly threatened with a lawsuit, I relented and settled the matter out of court. I have proof that the settlement check was endorsed and cashed by the plaintiff. Now, nearly six months later, I get a Notice of Setting for the SAME case. Can I sue for breach of contract?
