Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I was robbed of $600 cash in a WalMart by a WalMart employee. She was arrested and WalMart won't even talk to me about them paying me back. Am I just out the cash?

You'd have to explain to me how Wal-Mart is liable.

I doubt that stealing $600 is in the scope and course of one's employment with Wal-Mart.

Your remedy is against the thief.
