How can I stop someone from sending libelous emails about myself and my wife, that could also hurt my income since I am a commissioned sales professional and some of the emails have been sent to my clients family

Hire a lawyer to send a "cease and desist" letter threatening a lawsuit if they do not stop. Be sure to gather and keep all evidence of the activity.
