Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Towing Charges & Damages from Austin Company

My vehicle and three others were towed when we went to a comedy club and parked in the lot behind the club. A sign was posted ''Parking only for visitors.'' No ownership of the sign was indicated (comedy club or other business) so we deduced it was for the overflow of the comedy club. (Wrong assumption.) After our vehicles were towed and impounded by a local towing company, a storm broke out and our vehicles became damaged by the hail. First of all, what is the legal requirement for posting of towing signs? Secondly, is it possible to get compensation for hail damages on our vehicles?

Towing signs have to be of a certain size only. No 'magic' language, although it has to give you fair warning that if you park there you may be towed.

As to hail damage, you'd have to contact your insurance company to see if your insurance covers that. The towing company isn't responsible.
