Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Vehicle purchase

I bought a car for cash in March 2008 and the Dealer said it would take about two weeks to get the clear title. Its has been almost three months and every time I call he says ''there is a problem with the signature'' and we still haven't gotten the title. Is there any legal recourse to get the title from this guy?

Yes. It is a criminal offense to fail to deliver a title to a car that has been sold. Make a complaint with your local sheriff or police department. Obtain a copy and send it to the dealer. The title will miraculously appear in return mail. Good Luck.
