Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

Infrigement to Use Fictional Logo from TV Show

There is a show on tv, and the characters work for a fictional company, and wear uniforms with the fictional company's logo. Would I be infringing any copyright or trademark laws in designing and selling shirts with the fictional company's logo on them?

Someone owns the copyrights and they may have filed for trademark protection. You'll need to seek permission to use them in this manner. If you don't have it, they could sue you for your profits and possibly for their attorney costs. I don't know how likely it is that they would sue you; they may do nothing or send a lawyer's letter. Let me know if you want assistance seeking permission; it may be relatively easy and cheap to get.
