Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

I am interested in conducting a sort of seminar which would utilize the approach created by a well known psychologist who has authored several books. In the seminar I would like to discuss his basic technique from one of his books and how it can be quickly utilized for stress reduction and to gain other psychological benefits. I am not licensed to practice this person's type of therapy or any other type of therapy. I have a Bachelor of Sciences degree - major psychology. I would charge fees for the seminar and my personal doctor has said he might be interested in me providing the seminar to some of his patients. I want to be sure I am not violating any laws if I were to do this seminar - this would involve questions such as what are the legal issues regarding discussion of the material from one of his books and how is this different from practicing therapy and/or teaching the material (which I'm sure would require proper formal licensing of course).

Is there a way to legally do such a seminar ?

Thanks

There is a way to do this and a way NOT to do this. Call or email and, for a fee, I will enlighten you. Basically it needs to be an educational seminar and not a patient treatment for a fee, but the devil is in the details.

I am licensed in Texas, I am a registered patent attorney, my brother is a doctor, my sister is a doctor, my Dad is a doctor, and I have psychologist clients. I can help you do this correctly.
