Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

Lahnam Act

If I know that a manufacturing company is violating the Lahnam Act how do I file a claim to start a investigation? Is this something that would fall under the Whistle Blower Act? What forms do I need and how do I attain them?

In what manner is the company violating the Lanham Act? Trademark infringement? Deceptive advertising? You need to be more specific, since the Lanham Act covers a lot of legal ground.

Re: Lahnam Act

1. Unless it's trenching upon your intellectual property you have no standing to complain.

2. The Whistleblower Act is not applicable!

3. Not applicable because of 1 & 2 above.

Re: Lahnam Act

You may file a complaint against the manufacturing company if that company's violation of the Act impacts your intellectual property rights. The Whistle Blower Act is not applicable and no pre-printed form is likely applicable.
