Renting contract valid or not?

In our renting contract for our house it says that the leasing company (representing the owner), is responsible for mowing our lawn...since they havnt done it yet, I went there and asked them what is up... They said that it is a mistake in the contract...and that the owner wont pay for it.

Can we still demand that they do it, since it was promissed so in the contract?

If it is in the lease, then they are obligated. Now you have to ask yourself if it is worth a fight over this; or if it wouldn't be better to sit down with the leasing company and reach a compromise.
