Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

Please Help

O.k where i reside at for the time being, my landlord to me to court and won the eviction. He is also sueing me for rent in the amount of 700.00. I am a single, poor mother of 5 children and cant afford to pay him. What can happen to me if i dont pay.

If the landlord won the eviction, five days after the eviction court date, he can obtain a writ of possession and set your possessions out on the street and lock you out of the property. The eviction he obtained is a judgment which will be or record and show up on your credit report. He will have to make efforts to try to collect it. From the way you describe your circumstances, its sounds like he will be unable to do so.
