Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

We where in an auto accident in Texas and the other driver was at fault, but 17years old with the insurance and car was in her parents name. My wife was injured, if we wanted to sue, is the driver the only party we can sue or the parents(Owner of the car.)

I'm sorry to hear about your acicdent. You are correct. You can file suit against the 17yr old driver for negligence; you can also file suit against the parents for negligent entrustment. Yes, you can sue both parties. Don't do it yourself.
