Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was backing out of my driveway when I hit a friend of the families car. I made a little scratch on the door and now they want $1200. Its been over 20 days. How long do they have to report it and what if they dont have insurence?

You should report it to your own insurance company and let them handle it.
