Based on just the facts presented, no. Just falling down the stairs on someone else's property does not entitle you to any sort of compensation. You must show that your fall was the result of negligence on the part of the person/entity in control of the premises. Generally, in a premise liability case, you must show negligence by showing the person in control of the property had an unreasonably dangerous condition on the property of which they were aware but failed to act to remedy the danger or warn others of the danger. You also need to show the injured person had no knowledge of the dangerous condition prior to the fall.

Just falling down the stairs is simply not enough facts to determine that there is or is not any negligence involved.
