Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

In June I was in an auto accident. I was stopped in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala at a stop sign. On my right a relatively new Toyota pickup truck approached the intersection and his stop sign. I waited for him to proceed. He started like he was making a left turn into my street but continued to make a very sharp turn and hit my car head on. It was a low impact collision. However, before the impact I was parellel to the curb. After the impact my car had been moved 45 degrees to my left. No known injuries at the time except I was shook up and felt very shaky. Police were called but did not issue any report. His insurance company is Farmers and after they reviewed my pictures, diagrams and explanation, they agreed the other driver was 100% at fault. Farmers repaired my car at a cost of $4,200. An orthopedic surgeon said the arithitis in my neck was aggravated. I had never been treated for any arithitis problems in my neck before the accident. The doctor prescribed 4 weeks of physical therapy, 3 times per week. Did not miss any work. Total medical costs $3,000. How much of a personal injury settlement could I reasonably expect from Farmers.

Famers will delay, deny and defend. Then they will claim that because you waited so long to treat, your injury isn't related. Then they'll say that it's 100% degenerative. After that, they'll claim you're malingering and just trying to run up bills. Do yourself a favor and hire a lawyer to do this.
