Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was totally stopped at a red light and was hit in the rear by a driver in a 2000 escalade i was in a 2006 lexus330. her insurance paid to fix my car in the amount less than $1.500 in damages. I was injured with 2 hairline fractures in my back. I took 2 months of pt therapy and took pain meds off and on to date.I submitted all the info her insurance requested 13 weeks ago. Her adjuster came to my home and I signed a release to get additional info from my docter. the co. they hired has cancelled the completion date 3 times. I have lupus and the stress is making me sick. How can I get them to settle this claim now?

Do not settle with the insurance company without first talking to a lawyer. I would be glad to talk to you. They are most likely offering you too little money.

Now that you've signed a medical release, the insurance company is going to claw through your medical files, to look for anything they can to reduce the value of your claim. You need to have a lawyer involved as quickly as possible, to take back control over this case.
