Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years, last year we purchased a home together due to credit issues he had it put into his name only, I did not put my name on the deed, I did come up with the down payment and pay all bills including the groceries for our household. he cheated on me in the home and I want out of the relationship do I have any rights here? can I at least get my money I put down? we are still in speaking terms but I know it will only be a matter of time before things get bad....Please advise me if you can I live in Texas

Did you and he have an agreement to be married (as in "married in the present tense")?

Have you ever asked him about reimbursing you for the down payment?

You say that you "purchased a home together." Is the title in both your names? Is the mortgage in both your names?
