contractor lien
sba requires you to have a named contractor even if it's just a friend and even if they don't do the work for a low interest disaster loan-what problems can this lead to? i have a friend listed as my contractor but LOWES did the work

When in doubt, follow the law. There are some that view government loans which are used to pay private individuals for work as potentially fraudulent. It is best to play it safe and always be truthful to people who are giving you money.
