Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I have been in my home (Texas) since 7/1990. My neighbor has been there since 2000. We replaced the fence 10 years ago and is still good condition. At that time my husband informed him of the discrepency on the lots. He told him at the time if he wanted us to move the post we would. With time, cost & hard labor the neighbor verbally agreed and said leave as is. Now is the disput of the property line!! He is there by common law and he's name is not on the deed!! This individual is has a past criminal history and violent. What are my rights.

Your note is not understandable....does neighbor now want to move fence? Does the fence encroach on hir property or yours? He is not on the deed?? is he a tenant..You have no duty to move but whether he is violent or not..detemine the least abrasive way to settle..
