Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Natural flow of land

I own a piece of property where the property next to me was built up in elevation, for new construction. This has disturbed the natural flow of the land causing my piece of land to flood when it rains. What does Texas law in Montgomery county say when it comes to drainage of property in rural areas?

Mr. McDermott is correct. You will need to have an attorney send a demand letter to your neighbor and you may have to sue, but you will win.
