Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Owner finance Home in Texas

I currently own a home free and clear with no leans. I have tried to see through a real estate agent with no luck. So I have decided to owner finance the home my self. I have found a buyer that will put down a large payment for the home with me financing the rest. What documents or legal contract would I need to see that this is done properly and he will recieve ownership when the obligations are fullfilled. Thanks and any help would be appeciated. Eric

Re: Owner finance Home in Texas

If this is a straight owner finance, you could use the standard TREC contract forms with a seller financing Addendum. You would also need a promissory note, deed of trust and warranty deed. If you would like our assistance in preparing the necessary contracts/documents to ensure the transaction goes smoothly, please contact us.
