Wage Garnishment for Repossed Home

Can a finance company garnish your pay for voluntarily surrendering your home (mobile home)? We are attempting to do this and were told by the finance company that if we do they will garnish our paychecks for the payment of the mobile home even if we are not in possession of it or living in it. Can they do this?

In Texas your wages are exempt from creditors. They cannot garnish them. Larry Maun 713.266.2560
