Medicade & Structured Settlements

Does income from a Structures Settlement disqualify a claimant from the income requirement of Medicade? If it does not, where can I get this information?

Income from any source is included in the medicaid benefits calculation. Ask your caseworker. Sometimes these settlements can be structured to minimize the loss of benefits while retaining the assets acquired by a structured settlement.
