Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

Traffic ticket paid in full

I was recently stop on my new bike and ticketed for no lincense no insurance and no inspection. Well the tickets were 700 dollars and i just got the money together to go pay. When i got there the court clerk told me its only 515 dollars. I was like are you sure i thought it was more and she said no shes right only 515. I asked several times are you sure and I got the same answer. So i paid the 515 and she wrote me a receipt with the case number paid in full.Several days later which is today I got a letter from the clerk thats she didnt charge me for all three offenses and that i still owe 185 dollars. She said please accept my apology. What should i do can i get out of the other 185 or can they still make me pay it or issue a warrant

Re: Traffic ticket paid in full

Go pay it. She was wrong, and made a mistake. Her mistake does not alleviate the fine that still exists. If you want to get a hearing and argue it to the judge, that your receipt says paid in full, I doubt if you would prevail, and the cost would surpass $185.00. (almost dodged that bullet :)
