Given unfair Traffic Ticket

What can I do to fight a ticket if I missed the 2nd court date. I went to the first 1 to plead. Basically what happened was I was sitting at a red light for 10 mins or more waitin for a train 1 light down to pass and there was a police car behind me in the nxt lane. A random car suddenly came up behind me and started honking and honking at me. At first I sat there looking at the police car in my rear view mirror,but they didnt do anything. So I slowly moved my car forward to get out of the way of the car. I thought it had to be a medical emergency because the car saw the lanes all at a stand still and the train 1 light down. Well the 2 officers drove to where i was jumped out of their car all crazy and scared me too death. One went to the persons car that honked at me and the other came to mine. He rudely said he heard the honking from the other car,but that he still had to give me a ticket. He didnt even look me in the face. I was on my lunch break and my supervisor at the time just happened to be a few cars behind me and he saw the whole thing. The train wasn't anywhere close to my car! It happened in Nov 07 and there is a warrent out for my arrest because I didnt pay it. What can I do to fight it. It happened in farmersbranch

Hire a lawyer -- you will need to pay the lawyer, and pay a cash bond in the amount of the fine, in order to get the warrant pulled and the case put back on the docket. The lawyer can either take it to trial or negotiate an eventual dismissal of the case.

Just curious, what was the ticket for? The light was red? Or had your light turned green, and you were waiting for the light further down which was blocked by the train?
