Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
Wrong SpeedingTicket on Dps Issued Ticket
I was driving on a highway and got pulled over. THe cop asked told me i was going 70mph in 60 mph zone. The mile marker that he wrote he clocked me at is about 20 feet away from speed limit sign that says spped 70 night 65. The cop was on the opposite side of the grass median at night. Would i be able to get the ticket dismissed or reduced?

If you are saying that you were going 70 in a 65, then with sufficient evidence of that fact, you could probably get the fine reduced, and deferred adjudication. If you were going 70 in a 70, then you should get it dismissed.
