Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Death without a Will

My mother recently passed away and does not own any real estate or property and there is no surviving spouse. Her only monetary asset is her bank account. There are medical bills that are coming in from the hospital. Who is responsibile for the balance of the medical bills? Medicare has paid its portion.

She is responsible. You will need to open a probate will to get in her bank account. If you need assistance come see me.
