Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Is it to late 2 fight for my inheritance

My grand father died when I was 1 years old. He owned several bars in Houston and lots of property and real estate .I recently found out that he left me a peace of property and some money I never got. Anyway my grandfather had 2 kids my dad and aunt. 1 year after my grand father died my dad died. I was 2 years old when my dad died. I never got any thing that should have been mine from what he left me and passed down to me from what went 2 my dad when he died. I was so young and have never sean the will I just know there was one and I never got a thing. my aunt and grandmother are crooked and I suspect some how they took what should have been mine . Well now I am 31 and I would like to know if I got a copy of the will and proved half of my grandfathers estate should have went to me. Could I now all these years later sue my aunt for stealing my inheritance.

Although it may be too late, it will definitely be too late if you do not consult with an attorney very soon. If you are lucky, the statute of limitations did not start running until you "recently" found out certain facts. Once you find out about a claim you may have, you have a limited amount of time to do something about it.

You should meet with an attorney, and if possible, get a copy of your grandfather's will and entire probate file from the probate records, as well as the same documents for your father. You may still be able to do something about it. Do not delay any longer.
